Stoneham Drilling Trust and Western Energy Services Corp.

On June 9, 2011 Western Energy Services Corp. ("Western") (TSXV:WRG.V) acquired all of the outstanding securities of Stoneham Drilling Trust (TSX: SDG.UN) by way of a plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (Alberta) (the "Arrangement"). The Arrangement was approved at the special meeting of Stoneham unitholders.

Western Energy Services Corp. is an oilfield service company with operations contract drilling. Canadian contract drilling operations are conducted through Western’s wholly owned subsidiary Horizon Drilling Inc.. US contract drilling operations are conducted through Western’s wholly owned subsidiary Stoneham Drilling Corp.
